How does the brake's "Wheel Force" option work in the SIMON Driver Controls table?

The Wheel Force brake table option calculates brake torque as the product of the user-entered wheel force and the current tire radius (the larger of the tire radii in the case of dual tires). These are explained in the SIMON User Manual, page 4-25. BUT... As noted on page 4-25 and in various technical articles, EDC recommends the use of the "Pedal Force" option and discourages use of the “Wheel Force” and “% Available Friction” options. The reason for this is that SIMON has a very sophisticated braking system that is completely by-passed by the "Wheel Force" and "% Available Friction" options. Among other things, if you use any input option other then 'Pedal Force,' proportioning has no effect and ABS is not possible.
