This simulation illustrates a classic example of how easy it is to handle complex, multi-vehicle collisions using EDSMAC4. In addition to simulating the chain reaction collision in a single simulation, the delta-V and acceleration output results from EDSDMAC4 may also be used by a biomechanical engineer to assess the risk of injury to the occupants of each vehicle during each collision.
