The field testing phase has been completed and HVE & HVE-2D Version 5 are now available.

DyMESH Simulation Movies Available To Download
Simulation movies from SIMON simulations using the patented DyMESH 3-D collision algorithm are now available to download from the Simulation Movies page of this website.

DyMESH 3-D Collision Simulation Now Available
DyMESH is now available. HVE Users will be able to use this patented 3-D collision algorithm in conjunction with the SIMON vehicle dynamic simulation model to perform 3-D dynamic collision simulations.

Call for Papers
HVE users interested in presenting a technical paper in the "HVE White Paper" session for the 2005 HVE Forum are invited to submit an abstract for consideration.

ABS Simulation Model Introduced at 2002 SAE Congress
The new ABS Simulation Model for HVE was introduced at the 2002 SAE Congress in Detroit, Michigan. Terry D. Day, President of EDC, presented Technical Paper No. 2002-01-0559, "A Simulation Model for Vehicle Braking Systems Fitted with ABS".

EDC Vehicle Database Continues To Grow
Over the past 12 months, EDC has built 26 custom vehicle models for HVE users who required a specific vehicle for their casework.  These vehicles were also added to the Vehicle Database for HVE, adding 187 vehicle model years to the available selection when all model years are considered.  EDVDB-3D now contains over 800 vehicles for use in HVE simulations.
