In a SIMON simulation, how is the torque and/or drive shaft speed distributed between front and rear in a 4-wheel drive vehicle?

This is an answer from before the ESS Model became available for SIMON in HVE Version 8.20 --

In a SIMON simulation, torque is distributed equally among all drive axles.  Drive shaft speed is calculated based upon the average speed of all drive wheels multiplied by the differential ratio.
